This is the dark exposure of a bracketed exposure set. For a number of resons, largely having to do with the haze in the distance, I think this exposure worked better than the middle exposure.

Visited Yosemite in the fall, and of the pictures that I took, this

one is one of my favorites.

During a recent storm here, I happened to notice these two birds

taking shelter from the rain. There's some debate as to what type

they are, so if anyone out there could shed some light...

They were quite tame seeming, and let me get within a foot and a

half or so, and didn't even blink when I took the picture.

Just recently got back into photography, and this is one of my

favorites so far.
