this shot needs some context, where did he come from? you need to include the ground/ramp in the shot so we can see what he is doing. i would prefer to see his face also.

this is an amazing shot. please would you explain how you took it. it is so close but everything is in perfect focus. some extreme macro work here. it almost looks fake.

when you ollie over to tailslide the other side of the rail its called a bluntslide. this is a fs bluntslide. get lower. the skaters pose on the trick is good in this one, you got the timing right. think about your composition also, this is boring with him just centered like that. look at some skate mags or search the web a bit and find some skate quality photos for inspiration. a fisheye wouldn't hurt either, or a longer lens. what is this a 35mm lens, worst focal length for skateboarding in my opinion. keep trying and experiment more think about what you like and what you dont then go back and reshoot.
  1. you are new to skateboard photography aren't you?

get down lower, it will make the ledge look bigger and you will be able to see his face better. the timing is too early, you want to see it just at or before the catch. the composition is average also, looks like you just stood there and took your photo without thinking. get him to do this on a ledge in the street then you might have yourself a nice looking photo. skate parks are for practice.
