<p>Im trying to get these to work together 1 PW on camera 1 on each of the flash. I know ETTL doesn't work!<br>

I bought the kit on its own with 2 PW's and when I got that it worked on camera with one flash. I bought another PW so I could use then 2nd flash but heres where the problem starts... this doesn't work.</p>

<p>I tried all the different channels and modes but no joy. Heres the thing the actual pocket wizards are kinda different themselves.. both bought from UK ebay stores but on the side where the on - off button is. The kit has on off on each but the single one has I - O on it.. Don't know if this makes a difference?</p>

<p>Any ideas?</p>

Ill try explain it so you can help me more em.. can you explain settings like white balance, metering modes, AF modes (one shot, AI focus and AI servo) , flash exposure compensation and oh whats the difference between sRGB and adobe RGB.. ? Something to do with photoshop ?

 

Histograms I have learned about awhile ago before I had a camera that even showed histgrams.. My knowledge of them (from my head) they show the exposure, balance of lightness and darkness in your photo and there never really is a perfect histogram ?!

 

I have read the manual but it doesnt really go in to great detail hence why I asked here !

 

I am getting a tripod with whatever money I may get over christmas :) lol

Several months ago I posted about getting a canon 350 D and now I

have finally got one and am loving every minute of playing with this

camera :) My question is could some one give me some advice and tips

for this camera mainly when shooting lanscapes, animals, portraits

(just mainly my friends nothing special) and skateboarding.

 

I have the kit lens and I will not be upgrading for several months

to a new lens (17 and im now broke lol) When I can afford it I will

probably buy the Canon EF-S 17-85 mm

pretty sure it will but up till now I was getting the SanDisk

Ok I need to know a few things I asked before and just want to learn

another few things from ye guys ok..

 

I have the monitor... got it for free out school :)

 

Now I need a video card and I'm reading that I need one that is

compatiable with my motherboard now I dont know how to find that out

any suggestions ?

 

Also suggestions on video cards should I go for one of those dual

ones or can I buy a seperate one and just install it beneath the one

I have now ?

I had the same problem only a little while ago heres how I did it (assuming your on windows) Go to:

 

Program files> common files> adobe> fonts>

 

Then just drag and drop the fonts in there and start up photoshop and your set hope that helps

It wasnt really a proper camera store it was a chemist/beauty place also and I couldnt see any lens/lense's around, its the only place in my city that sells the camera also for a nice 1300 euro...

I think I know what you mean... When you get the error message just refresh the page and the browser should try upload the image again if it works it should say done in the bottom left of your screen (thats if your on windows (xp) like I am) Hope that helps ?

Im just curious would there be any significant difference in holding

the 350 D without the lense and with the lense ?

 

I was reading posts saying make sure it feels good and fits in your

hand so I went to down to the camera store this morning and asked

could I hold it to see if it fits my hands (but there was no lense)

and it felt kinda awkward. Im just wondering does that make a

difference ?

anyway at first it didnt get many comments but after awhile it did.

Now that im a subcriber I thought I would be able too submit it

again but I cant is there any reason for this ?

Hey brian, just say I was to use an uncles credit card (from Ireland) would the bill on the card have any hidden charges or anything like this ? I ask this because I really want to subscribe but im afraid he might get extra costs ? sorry if that sounds stupid.

Id say its been asked before but.. I was wondering if ye guys could

tell me basically everything on how to make one of those pinhole

cameras that you can make from shoe boxes and film ?

 

If its too much bother to type it all out a link would be equally

helpful, but 1st hand experience would be handy also !

 

Also a couple of questions: are they easy to make ? What kind of

film can I use could I use normal 35 mm film for normal film

cameras ? How would I go about developing the negatives (if I get it

to work) would it be possible to do it myself or would that be just

way too hard ?

 

I apologize if the way I talk about film is wrong ive had no

experience and little knowledge of film, I thought to myself tonight

this would a fun place to start !
