I can vouch for Gerry at Kindermann Canada. I have used him numerous
times. Absolutely tops and Kindermann are one of very few , if not
the only, place(s) left with parts for any Leica rangefinder right
back to the beginning. They also warranty their work for a year.
Highly recommended.

On the last post you cannot click on it you must copy and paste. My
apologies to all. I am obviously having a tuff time posting to this
forum.

Sorry, my new server timed out so here you are. As a side note -
Using this lens on a moving target up close is quite a challenge
because of the very small dof - although I feel the effort is worth
it.

Here are a couple of shots done wide open in daylight. Obviously one
is cropped out but you get the idea.<img

I believe the Nikon Ultra-Micro-Nikkor line of lenses was designed
for extreme resolving power for copying circuit board microchips. As
for Leica - Apollo (Command Modules?)used the M-Summicron 50mm for
sighting stars for tracking purposes.

Jay,
A few of the posts earlier in this thread were complaining about not
having a good relationship with their local dealers. This is simply
an alternative for them. By all means for those that do have a friend
down the street, keep dealing there as the benefits should outway
shopping around.
Cheers.

Jay,
Assuming a price of C$3240.00 for an R6.2 your Lifetime Warranty
would run you an extra C$162.00 for as long as you own this camera.
Of course there is some fine print that goes along with such a
warranty (e.g. basketball games(impact) and scuba diving(flooded) are
definately out along with "pro" usage) but it really is a straight
forward agreement which I would gladly e-mail to anyone interested
offline.

Bob Todrick has said it the best so I can't add a bunch to the
conversation. Bob and myself work for the same company and if you are
worried about warranty, we offer a "Lifetime Warranty" (read - as per
manufacturers warranty)on anything purchased new from us with
shipping paid one way for 5% of the bill (i.e. $1000.00 purchase =
insurance for $50.00).

Good Day All,
Congrats to this forum!. I am brand new to it and am loving it. I
just got the link from Bob Todrick. I also just sent in my M6 w/35
Summicron after a nasty drop onto the pavement and had the
rangefinder go a bit haywire. So, no sooner do I get the link to this
forum which really makes me want my Leica back in my hands and its
gone for a couple of weeks at the "Kinderman spa".
<p>
Keep up the good work Tony!

This is not actually about the 67 lenses but 35mm, just thought some may be interested. See the following link. http://arnhem.telekabel.nl/~pjonkman/lenses2.htm

I was shaken as I watched the events unfold this morning and have no
other words to explain this. May God be with all the families
involved and may He give your government leaders the patience and
forthought to do what is right in a timely fashion. I have two small
children and I can't shake the thought of how many children in New
York don't have a mother or father coming home tonight. How
absolutely cowardly can humans get? My prayers are with you in the
USA.
