Very nice shot Thomas. I like the colors-you captured this shot at the right moment. There is nothing like standing at the waters edge early morning like that-peace & quiet all around. Ahhhhhhh, makes me wish I was standing there right now.

I think all in all it's a very nice shot Jerry. A very pretty subject-how can you go wrong there? As far as dealing with the the blown out area, I would suggest next time crank your EV setting down by one or two stops. The shadows will be kind of dark but you can always recover that detail in Photoshop or Elements with the lighten shadows tool, in the mean time, your highlights won't be blown out. Just an idea. Or, it would be a bit of a pain, but you could've put some sort of diffusion material on the outside of the window-that way it wouldn't be visible in the shot but would cut down your light by a couple a stops.

I love this shot. It is very panoramic in a vertical way. The subdued color & mist make it very mysterious. I have one suggestion: you might try cropping or touching out the clump of leaves in the upper right corner.
