I believe it was about 2-3 sec. It was getting fairly light out and the lightning was so frequent I really coundn't and didn't need to go any longer. I probably got 5-6 really good lightning shots with this same storm. Thanks for your interest.

I believe the orange bolt to the right is the return bolt from the ground to the cloud (completing the curcit). I think the orange bolt is one thing I found most interesting about the picture.
If anyone is knowledgable about lighting and can confirm (explain) the bolt, that would be great.
