Hi Mike,
Thank you! You're absolutely right... I should also mention that the photo is a composite image put together out of 7 images. That was an only solution to fit the whole scene into a frame as the boulder was only about 4m away from the camera.
Camera settings - 1.6s at f/4.0 at ISO400 with the lens set to 28mm.
