Ian, I have an older 532/16. The counter mark always lines up with the numbers, so it's not a standard design thing. My camera is in the hands of a man named Jurgen Kreckle right now (in America), for a new bellows and shutter repair. I don't mistrust him, but as a word of warning, he's had my camera for 10 weeks now, and my money for a month, and all I've gotten so far are promises. I miss my camera.

Great pics! I especially like the group shot. I don't think I've ever seen an M3 before (just M4 and up). That's a beautiful camera. Someday, I'll return to 35mm, and that may be the one to bring me back. How old are they (m3s, not the kids)?

Sam, I love your mistakes. In this series #10 is my absolute favorite. You're right to post anything you want to post. ALWAYS good stuff.

Yes, he does do nice work! I'm fascinated by car no.5. Is that a Peugeot? Whatever it is, I want one. I'd imagine that a lot of classic camera folk are classic car folk as well. Anything old, metal, and industrially designed turns me on.

Thanks all for your answers (and kind words). My Ikonta's case was actually ripped apart by ape-like airport security inspectors who couldn't figure out how to open it. They check your checked bags when you're not looking nowadays. Beware packing anything valuable. They will break it and leave a note saying they aren't liable for damage!

Todd, I've had luck shooting 2-8 second exposures at f13 at dusk or f8 when it's darker. I recommend using Ektachrome 64T tungsten film as well. The colors are more natural in tungsten balanced film.
