<p>I have started to notice lately that when I put in a new card I get alot of "CARD ERROR","CARD1 NOT FORMATTED" messages. Now Every card I put into the camera I get the same message. The cards I am using are the same 4 I always use. I was also in a photo shop today and they gave me one of their cards to try and I got the same message. I reset the camera settings but I cannot get past this message. Any Ideas<br />Thanks</p>

Just read on 17photo.com they are shipping in 3 to 5 days. I have bought 3 or 4 large orders from them and thay have always kept their word on what thay said. they go by 17photo or 17th street photo.

Thanks so much for the info. I did do a search and find the info but your info also provided me with some extra info. I guess I asked a question without searching for the info first and I feel lazy for that. Thanks so much for helping me to learn something new today.

I was just reading the posts and was wondering what is IR? Also can someone explain what is a Canon 20Da.

The lense was available for several weeks in Sept - early Oct. However to do a manufactures defect in the part of the first batch, canon pulled the lens from shelves. They are susposed to start shipping again in early to mid November.

I don't have experience to advise you what to use but I saw something on one of the photo web sites that may work. What about an underwater housing unit. I have not used one but from the pictures I saw they seem to provide a protective case for it.

Hello All,

 

I still new to all of this and have been reading alot of comments

on this forum about "mirror lockup" or wishing for a seperate mirror

lockup button on the new 5d. I would like to get some help in

explaining what is mirror lockup and why is it used. What type of

situation would it be used in.

I'm still learning all of the differences of the terms. I would

like someone to please explain to me what EF means vs FF. I read a

post of someone looking to upgrade to FF in a couple of years. I

think someone responded to him about the 5D bieng FF. I am looking

to upgrade to the 5D from a 20D and I am wondering if my lenses wil

(all Canon) will work on the 5D

Hello,

I am fairly new to photography and I need some help with some new

lenses. I am traveling to asia for 4 weeks and will take my new 20D

with me. I want some great pictures and need some advice on

lenses. I have a canon 100mm 2.8 macro. I am also looking at the

100-400L IS lens. I would like to use the 100 400L IS lens for

wildlife and outdoor scenes far away. I would also like a good

lense for general landscapes (beach scenes, buildings and general

pictures of life in the places I'm at). I would also like a wide

angle lens. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
