Maybe it's just me but I don't get the cropping, clearly the picture is about the women so why not either show more of them or set them in context with something other than just plain white wall?

In the Finnish summer the sun doesn't quite go down at all due to our north location. When the sun is very down but still lights up the nature, the light turns very bluish-grey. Finns call this short period the "blue moment". I was fortunate to be on a lake shore facing south and got this fantastic exposure last summer.

Ok I used a technically wrong word, the picture depicts a dragonfly larval case. Check out
a dragonfly site with pictures of the whole hatching process.

The birds that can be seen in the photo were eating at the top of the waterfall. The edge the birds were standing on was were slippery and the birds kept on falling so it was a matter of time to catch one from below.

I shot quite a few images of the skin to test the control over depth of field that could be achieved with the consumer-level digital camera. The end result was quite surprising, the camera is a low more flexible than what I thought it'd be.

I'm quite happy with the composition of this image. Also getting the exposure just right
for having fire with a lot of detail and not over-exposing was quite tough. The person in
the middle is a performer on long peg legs, waving fiery chains in the air.
I'd love some comments from others regarding the exposure and composition, especially if
you've ever shot fire in the dark. :)
There's a couple other photos on the same subject in the same folder as this in case you're
interested.
