I guessed Animesh. ;-) I figured it needed at least 10 minutes to 30 minutes so I split the difference. The difference between a 10 minute and a 30 minute exposure is only about a stop and a half so I was pretty safe. Plus I had been out a few nights before this shooting similar shots at about the same time with 100 speed film and those came out ok but too thin, so I came back with 400 and kept the times close.

A pinhole image of the Ferris Wheel during the Rose Festival in

Portland, Oregon. This was about a 20 minute exposure. Enjoy and

    feel free to comment.

  1. A pinhole shot of a rushing stream, taken from a footbridge. I put

my pinhole on my tripod and then extended it out over the river

pointing straight down. About a 2 minute exposure. Recently

featured on FlickRBlog to illustrate Worldwide Pinhole Photography

Day. I was very flattered. Please enjoy, maybe it even inspires you

to shoot some pinhole. Feel free to leave comments.

This shot was accomplished by putting the 90mm lens from my Pentax

6x7 on my 35mm Nikon FM2N via a bellows made from gaffer's tape and

aluminum foil. Shot from the bus window while going through downtown

Portland. Cross processed slide film. Phew. Enjoy and feel free to

    comment.

  2. This has been a surprisingly popular image of mine, people really

seem drawn to it, though I admit that I like it well enough, it is

not a favorite. It has a wonderful depth to the colors and is

incredibly sharp, those are the things I like. Would be nice viewed

large I imagine. Anyway, please enjoy, be inspired, leave comments

if you would like. I would be most interested in knowing what your

favorite, or least favorite aspects of this photo are. Thanks.
