I may have locked focus behind the watches. At 200mm my f stop was 6.3 maybe it should have been set at 11. Would that made a difference?

Thanks to Edward, Larry & Rob. Taking short cuts didn't help. Next time I'll invest more time to get the job done right by using a tripod or increasing the ISO.

I have a Canon XT with a Tamron 18-200 lens. I find some of my shots at 200mm are out of focus when using AF.
There seems to be no trend as my f-stops remain the same in both focused or not. Is this something in the
equipment or the photographer?
