  1. I have a friend (Mario) who is planning a his wedding in the Boise area on

10/13/2007. He asked if I knew anyone in the area. He is a firefighter here

in Florida and his fiance is from Boise. You can contact him or send him a

link to your website through his e-mail: orangecountyfire@hotmail.com

    Thanks!

  2. Let me apologize for the long post I just need to explain the situation. I

purchased a 5d in November of 2005 as an upgrade from the 10d. Overall I have

been pleased with the camera. Until April 2006 while on vacation in Hawaii when

the camera failed. I had been shooting, powered off & changed lenses. Powered on

and nothing, completely dead! I did everything: replaced the previous lens,

batteries, CF card even the button battery all to no avail. I sent the camera in

for warranty repair which Canon replaced the PCB board & upgraded firmware. The

camera worked fine until August. I had used it without any difficulty two days

prior to the next incident. Came into the office turned on the power, again

DEAD! Again off to Canon for warranty repair. Again PCB board replaced &

firmware upgraded. Working fine until last week. Then again DEAD! I am now in

the process of trying to get Canon to replace the camera. I have a friend that

is shooting weddings also, with two 5d's, all without a hiccup. My question has

anyone out there had a similar problem or heard of any problems with the 5d?

  3. Check out The Perfect Wedding Guide (www.perfectweddingguide.com). You can go with the lowest level of advertising to have access to their "leads" program. They collect information from prospective brides and on a weekly basis notify you of new leads. You can then bulk e-mail these brides an introductory note. They are my first marketing attempt and the staff has been GREAT!

    Good Luck!

  4. I was able to attend a two day seminar in Sarasota, FL at the Digital Tech. Center www.digitaltechnologycentre.com. I found it very affordable and educational. It is amazing to watch someone with so much experience move so effortlessly through a session. His teaching style is relaxed and informative. I sure you can take away a great deal from the opportunity.
  5. Thanks to all who responded. I spoke with a Canon service rep and was told they would repair the camera and return it again. He told me coverage would be extended on the failed part for an additional year. If it should fail again I will be looking to have Canon replace the camera. P.S. He did claim Canon has been having a problem with the battery grip for the 5D. But, even with the grip removed and a battery inserted it would not power on.
  6. Giampi, Canon repaired the camera the first time no problem which has been working fine until now. The repair slip only listed a part number so I don't know what exactly was repaired.
  7. Has anyone had this problem? While shooting with my 5D (purchased new 11/05) I

switch off the power and change lenses. Try to turn the power back on and it is

completely DEAD! I tried changing batteries, CF card, switching lenses back to

the previous lens and nothing works. Canon repaired it the first time under

warranty without any difficulty. Now it has happened again! I'm afraid this body

is going to be a lemon & I'll be stuck with repair costs after the warranty period.

  8. Ella,

This is how my web template is structured I hope it helps. Locate the directory where your template is and see if there is a sub-directory labeled music. There should be an MP3 file labeled homesound or similar that is the current music. All you should have to do is rename the file you want to that file name and replace the current file. That should do it.
