The sharing and discussion is always a treat...A child learning, adults discussing literature!!! Agree about the 40mm on a metal body.
In the end, ME, enjoy your daughter's enthusiasm and your discoveries....

Hi!
I remembered this from a few years ago when I got my PZ1. Check out this site: http://w1.541.telia.com/~u54105795/FAQPentax item 5.3. It provides details on how to build one.
Hope it meets your needs.

Love the pic! It reminds me of what my father used to say, when with family and friends, food is a celebration of life!

Maybe some inspiration from my "friend" Salvador Dali:

"Drawing is the honesty of the art. There is no possibility of cheating. It is either good or bad."

" Have no fear of perfection - you'll never reach it. "

"Painting is an infinitely minute part of my personality.”

Hin, maybe you can replace the light seals yourself. eBay user interslice sells kits for around $9 for different cameras. I did it on a Super Program. This site offers an example of step by step instructions: http://www.instructables.com/id/Replace-the-light-seals-of-your-good-old-film-came/ .
I would recommend fix the MX.

I would pick the K2, unless an LX is not a consideration. About the electronics, you would have to keep in mind these cameras you write about are about 40 years old. It sums up that whichever way you go, it is a gamble. Whichever one you choose, have fun!

Michael E: Now that you write about it, you are simply right! Will be checking my settings...let's keep clicking...and learning!

K7 and Tethering
in Pentax
Posted

Hi all!
I have been looking for a tethering solution for use with a K7. This may have been covered by someone else already, yet while searching through the forumcould not find an answer.
Found this site that has a working solution, it is freeware: http://www.pktether.com/
I installed in my laptop and it worked. Just remember it is freeware and you use at your own risk.
Happy clicking!
