You suggest using the ProPhotoRGB color space when doing the conversion. I can't recall where I got this impression from, but I thought ProPhotoRGB is too large for a real world work.

I am fairly new to the ACR and I have a question about the workflow. When I

import my RAW images using ACR I can adjust the exposure/brightness/contrast

and etc. inside the ACR itself. I can also do similar adjustments using the

Levels/Contrast/brightness later inside Photoshop.

Although I would assume that doing these inside ACR is the correct way, it

seems that normal Photoshop tools (Levels & etc) sometimes produce better

results.

 

From you experience, what do you think is the right way of doing these. Which

one gives you better results?

 

Can anyone point me out to the ?guidelines? on how to correctly make all these

adjustments inside ACR?

I am considering switching from Minolta to the Canon system. I was

particulary considering the 1V body. When comparing this one with

the Maxxum 9, I have a short question to ask:

Does it supports mid-reload with a snap of the button as Maxxum 9

does: when you insert a new roll of film the camera provides an

option to automatically advance to the required frame number.
