No staging here, I was about to picture this landscape when my daughter decided to follow the tracks. I shot without changing the composition.

Structures in the background are relicts of Arromanches artificial harbour.

Any explicit critique from the person who rated this photo 2/2 would be highly appreciated ;-)

Otherwise I wonder how I will improve myself :-)

Richard, the sharpening was added only on the reduced jpeg for web publishing, it is necessary when you resize the picture or it looks too soft. The original picture doesn't have these halos.

Almost a documentary photograph ; we're not used to snow here on the

Normandy coast. Hope you'll like it.

Saska : when the weather is not too warm insects remain quiet and are easier to shoot :-)

Joan Ramon : I used the built-in flash with a piece of VHS box in front of it to soften the light.
