I'm a big fan of photographs shot in series to relate a period of time or story.
The only thing I'd mention I'm not so keen on here is that I feel the thick black border overwhelms it. So, more of a critique of the presentation rather than the actual photos. I think with a slighly less overpowering border the interplay between the red jacket and the nicely cold blue tones you have here would have more prominence.
