I like the idea you were going for with this. IMO, while the lighting seems pretty good on the flower, more like is needed on the cup at left and the vase at right. I may revisit again to see if I feel the same.

IMO the only thing that could make this shot better is if the team had made eye contact with the camera. Otherwise still very nice shot with an old-timey feel to it.

I really like the dynamic use of lighting. Simple and elegant.

Shot in early May on the west coast of Michigan, we spotted this

person who risked personal safety to be able to go fishing from the end

of the pier - Though it appears he is dressed for the weather, and was

able to maintain a position so as not to be knocked over by blasts of

wind and water. Unfortunately for me, my equipment wouldn't have been

as well protected had I ventured onto the pier. Even on the shore, the

sand was staging an attack worthy of leaving sooner than later. Would
