suggestions on making it better?

Shot for my photographycourse.

I like it, I do think it can use a tighter crop or maybe shot vertical? But that's pure a personal opinion. I love the makeup and huge eye it creates.

If you ever decide to sell a poster of this shot I'll be first in line to buy it. Amazing shot! Looking at this I still have a LONG way to go with my concertshots.

Comments welcome. Shot on film, scanned on a Nikon Coolscan IV

Too bad about the horrible JPEG compression you used :(

Another great Goulden shot!

This is a shot I would have loved to have made myself. 6/6

Great shot, the only nitpicking I can do is that the microphone almost blends in with his face. For the rest, amazing timing with the pose and his facial expression adds to his claw like handpose.

I like those heavy shadows! Good lit for the rest and good rockstar posing by the guys

I agree with James. Great shot, but the face is a little dark. But still, it does work, so I guess my comment is redundant ;)

Great shot!

Much better than the other Hallo Venray shot. Was afraid you lost your touch for a second there ;) Great work. Shot for Kindamuzik by any chance?

I have to agree with James Goulden, if the singer were pinsharp, then wow, now it's a bit of a downer I'm sorry to say.

On the street where all the money rolls, nothing rolls his way.
Great shot! 7/7

Pretty girl, but it's a shame her forhead doesn'y have the same skintexture as the rest of her. For the rest I like it.

I've seen work like this before, but this one is truely one of the better ones. I like the expresion on her face. It's a peacefull look, not a look of horror that you would expect a "victim" to have.
6/6!
