<p>Actually I took out the G screen and see that there is a swith for the second tab. This lets the camera know you are using the M or ML screen...Now I am still looking for the ML focusing screen since the one I just bought is useless. Do you have one for sale or know where I can buy one with the two tabs?</p>

Well, I quess I do not need anymore responses on this questions as Walmart sent me just the lens and not the camera. If anyone knows where I can purchase a new maxxum 7d at a resonable price, please let me know.

Have any of you maxxum 7d users gone back to the maxxum 7 and found your film

pictures are better?

I just purchased the Maxxum 7d from Walmart.com for 599. Which memory card

would you recommend I purchase. I hear that Lexars work very well with the

Just wondering what might be a great prime lens to use for youth

sports. I currently have the 35mm 1.4 G. I was thinking the 85mm G

but then I started to do some reseach and the 200mm G seems to be

great. Let me know if anyone has either forsale. I am leaning

toward the 200mm G if I can find one....Thanks

Has anybody changed their screen on the maxxum 7? I was thinking of

changing my to type M. I still miss the focusing system on the

srt202. The split focusing screen. Maybe type s. I feel it is

tough to fucus in manual mode. Let me know your thoughts

I am just wondering if anyone knows where I can buy a brand new 35mm

minolta 1.4 G lens. I ordered one two months ago, and the shop says

the Minolta rep doesn't know when it will be avilable. I live in

the Northeast and prefer a place I can drive to purchase. Any ideas

would be helpful.

new 35mm 1.4 G lens. if so any recommendation on brands? also do

you recommend I always shoot with the lens hood on? Just wondering

I bought the 5400 II for $620 tonight. I went to a camera show in quincy, MA brought together by a campany called Camera company. Ck out there site "Cameraco.com". It was a show where they brought all there venders together. I think they gave me this price since I bought a 35mm 1.4g lens and the 5600d flash. Once I get it up and running I will let you know. I don't have anything to campare it to.

I was wondering what your felling is on Prime lenses vs zoom

lenses. I Like the Bokeh in Pictures. Does the 28-70 mm G give off

good bokeh? How is the 35mm 1.4G and the 85mm G. Thanks for your

Just wondering from your experience which metering system you

prefer. I own the 7 film and the 5600d flash. I am still deciding

between the 28-70mm G 2.8 lens or the 28-75mm d lens. I know the d

activates the ADI system. Is the ADI system more advanced than the

TTL. I believe the G lens will use the TTL sysytem. Whey can't

Minolta make a 28-75 mm G D 2.8 lens to mike my life easier. Thanks

Just wondering which lens you would recommend. I have the money for

the G lens, but I am wondering about the ADI flash sysytem. Would

the G lens work ok for the ttl system. I have the maxxum 7 film

Hello: I am about to buy either the minolta 28-75 D lens or the

minolta 28-70 G lens for my minolta maxxum 7 film based camera I

just bought. Just wondering what your thoughts are on these two

lenses. I am not concerned about the cost, I am more concerned about

picture quality. Any recomendations would be helpful. Thanks
