    It's an interesting shot, strong subject with good colors and composition. I think it probably needs some cleanup though, cloning out the posts in the foreground and maybe try a shot when the boats are gone. The dish antenna also distracts the mood - just some suggestions.

    John - many thanks your for kind and thoughtful comment.

     

    You are right, the main issue is with the strong sun and time of day. I admit to a touch of HDR to brighten up the building and the wall - the contrast was too strong due to the slightly off-back lighting. Different time of day would be best, but alas, I only had one chance to go to this place and this is what I ended up with :-)

    Very interesting shot - classic subject but the composition is quite unusual. It feels split in the middle - I keep switching between looking at the rock and at the waterfalls... Normally this would be bad, but for some reason I find it interesting here... There's some post-processing but nothing too obvious. Nice work! Cheers, Daniel
