Use Image Capture to download your images. Comes free with the computer and works fine.

Flexicose (http://www.flexicose.cactuscanyon.com/) works for me. Doesn't make it dissapear but it sure helps.

To your light stand add a umbrella bracket http://tinyurl.com/neraw and a Justin clamp http://tinyurl.com/n3t8b and you're done. Cost - about $70 and the clamp is very handy for other lighting set-ups

Err, that "Airport Security" rolling bag is $359!
Yup! Designed by photographer for photographers and it holds several thousand dollars worth of equipment safely and discreetly. Has shoulder straps so that it can function as a backpack if necessary. Fits in the overhead compartment of most commercial airliners.
I don't worry about anyone cutting into the bag at the venues I go to!

Has a built it lock so that contents are untouchable and a built in cable to lock the rolling case to a immovable object. Take along a small bag to hold what you need for the moment (eg. church or reception)and leave the safely rest to one side.

I think that "proofing" pages are usually password protected; no? As it is the whole world can look at photos that your customers may not wish to be seen.
I may be wrong

Anyone know of an alternative for this bracket?

I like the idea but think $150 is overpriced.
Many thanks

Apparently this is your first SLR. If so start by using manual mode only. Once you have a handle on that then learn what you can do with S and A mode. Never use auto ISO until (maybe but I wouldn't reccommend it)you learn the characteristics of eash ISO and how it correlates with f stops and shutter speed.
To my mind the whole point of a SLR is control. Better to think of PS as your darkroom. Learn to capture the desired image in camera as much as possible.
Shoot lots.
Good luck

As previously mentioned there is no in camera solution. To help visualize in B&W you could try using a Tiffen contrast viewer like this http://tinyurl.com/cbkwy
Good Luck

Maybe you could try this: http://www.newswear.com/chestvests.htm
Haven't used it myself, but I am thinking on it. Based on similar tried and true systems used by the military worldwide.

Does it make sense or is there any benefit of converting jpeg to tiff
for editing in PS, and then re-saving them when done as jpegs?
Wondering if there is less "loss".
Thanks

Greetings,
I purchased a Tiffen wide angle UV filter to protect the lens but now
the lens cap does not fit with the filter in place. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Looking for a reasonably priced portable storage device that I can
download to when on the road. Don't need to be able to view images on
the device.
Anyone familiar with:http://www.vosonic.co.uk/vp2160.html?
Small and the price is right - $169 with a 20gig HD.
Input appreciated.
