This is very close to what I think photography should do. It should make you halt and force you to question or change your vision. Is this expression beautiful? Awful? I don't know and I am not sure an answer is needed.

Opinions, suggestions, and critiques welcome.

Yes, yes! I love your sister and your portrait! Very sharp, austerely plain and evocative. Bravo!
(I don't understand who could have given this 3/3. It's an outrage!)

I like the scene and colors, but I am not sure about the star effect. Seems a little pushy.

Igor, this is your best shot. I can say this after carefully reviewing your entire portfolio. As usual, lighting and plasticity are just perfect. But here you have also incorporated in a stunning way an element external to the human body. I am sure Freud would have liked to have this image as an illustration of his work on female sexuality.

This girl is a terrific model, especially when shot in profile. This is not my favorite shot of her. You have used a short focal length and it shows. The nose stick out a little bit too much.

This is just the kind of stuff I like: bold, edgy, open to many readings and ready to show the finger to them all. Bravo!

Now, this is one classy macro. Very nice! The sky may be a bit overpolarized.

Classic composition. Very nice.

Interesting angle. You should have probably cleaned those specks in the image.

I shot this originally in color. Because the colors in the scene
were not particularly punchy, I thought it might look better in b&w.
Opinions and criticisms welcome.

Great angle on a picturesque subject!

Classic landscape with good foreground interest.

Moody, mysterious, enticing! I like it.

Among your photos, this one is my favorite. I wish the background was a bit more de-focused. Why such a deep field? Didn't you shoot this with a macro lens?

The distortion at the edges is very evident. I am not sure that this is a defect. The tilt of the houses on the left creates the impression of a cardboard world, something reminiscent of *Dr. Caligari* Did you intend this effect?

I was immediately drawn to it. The interplay of colors and surfaces is great. The shadow in the lower right corner is distracting. I would get rid of it.
