Thank you Giangiorgio. I processed the raw in a non-calibrated portable. Will reprocess following your advice

Thanks for your comment Monte. Indeed, although wild specimens, hunger causes them to partly lose their natural shyness. The image was shot within inches, with me completely lying on the ground. Actually this was one of the most intense moments I have gone through as a nature photographer.

Great work Enrico, the mastering of both composition and exposure control is remarkable. This is undoubtedly an image many of us would love to have in our portfolio. Well done !

Traditional sheep grazing in the Spanish Pyrenees is still common nowadays

See large, please.
In this magic place, light hits water during a couple of hours each day.

Early soft daylight illuminated the scenery from top left, rendering
volume on the forest.

Sharply frozen, with a nice composition and background and natural lighting. What else could one ask for ? Congrats !

Shot early, with first lights

Muy buen punto de vista y encuadre Guillermo, y muy cuidada (cómo has ajustado el pararrayos... yo suelo pifiarla en esos detalles). Ahora mismo me iba allí para no volver. Un abrazo !

Bad weather is not necessarily bad news for photographer...

I like deep valleys when composing a picture. Always a lot of lines

An orchid and a small beetle together in the incredible palette of

Inspired by the poem of Sorley MacLean with same title. Chose a tele
lens (Canon 100-400) in order to compress perspective and narrow DOF
at F16.

This shot was taken shortly after "Lovers", under a calm spring rain
in a small forest in central pyrenees. The sky was still cloudy,
rendering the scene with a warm and delicate light, casting soft
shadows. It's up to you to imagine the story behind these two young
loving orchids...

I have tried to "break" the symmetrical composition with the small
stone at bottom right. Thank you.

A crab spider (Misumena vatia) having breakfast early in the morning.
This species is a terrific predator: they actively change color to
camouflage and are able to capture insects several times its size.
