Only had my point and shoot with me.

I came up with the idea of creating my own zine with these after I cleared the first few negatives and after having a few people write some notes about their containers. I already have a couple of ideas for future zines.
The theme for the series is Containers and Their Owners. I'm a huge alt/underground music fan, The Fall being one of my favorite bands, and I re-listened to a early song of theirs the other day, Container Drivers, the chorus goes:
"Containers and their drivers"
And the idea for this series popped into my head, I don't know any truck drivers but I'm pretty sure everyone owns a container and many people probably have some favorite containers. From there things just kind of gelled.

Thank you Fred. "terns of the word 'fragile' written on the box" was a happy discovery, once discovered I wasn't about to turn the box around. I consider adding more handwritten text to some of the boxes but I ended up not wanting to detract from whatever genuineness the background has. FYI, A LOT of the small boxes are from shipments of used camera stuff I've bought just in the last couple months.
I did this setup two Saturdays in a row and for the second set the boxes are arranged in a more detracting order with lots of the labels near the heads of the subjects. I did keep "fragile" in a similar position but I'm not as happy with the rest of the layout for the second round:

I'm lucky I have several friends who have similar ideas to mine so I can just let them do their thing as it was in this case.

Thanks Jim. I shot another round yesterday, just need to finish scanning the original batch, and finish clearing the negatives and scanning yesterday's batch. Here's the positive from the grand finale yesterday:

Part of project for a zine.

Wish this negative hadn't gotten so distressed during developing.

Comments much appreciated, especially ones pointing out how this image
could be improved.

Starting to shoot more architecture images.

Finishing off my pack of Polaroids after a project was completed.

I'm going to make another round of test exposures tonight, a little later in the evening, and with more tilt to isolate the satellite dishes better.

Testing some old Type 55 film (exposure and dev time) and trying some
lens tilting for the first time. From the roof here at work during a
break from our huge current project.

You crack me up Lex. But, yeah, the whole two turntables and a microphone thing are where I started from a few months before I set this one up.
Listening to the Some Velvet Morning off of that Nancy Sinatra album as I type this!

Thanks for critiques of the arrangement Ken.
To answer both you and Lex, the bleed off of the album cover is an artifact of not peeling the mask off of the instant film. It's probably a distraction for unmanipulated Polaroids.
Re: the shadow, I purposely went with one light to simulate a divey club with only one spotlight.
I'm not into stuffed animals or cutesy still lifes but I hadn't shot a photo in several days because of work and threw this all together because I was jonesing to shoot something.
Oh, and I didn't mean to mislead people regarding the back album, my gf thought it was the Ramones, but it's actually Tom Jones Live in Las Vegas!
Hahaha. Thanks again Lex and Ken.

The funny thing is the guy on top doesn't drink and the guy on the bottom hadn't started yet.
