Lighting was done with 2 strobes and reflectors. One medium softbox to camera right behind flower with reflectors on left.. really close. A snoot to camera left and behind flower to edge light the stamins.

I thought it would be interesting to get a shot of a meteor with my house in the foreground. I shot about 15 frames that I know had lots of meteors pass, but this was the only one that actually captured one on film!

I don't argue your comments, but I got you to look at the photo AND comment on it. hmm.. why? And (as they say in university; and yes, I started the sentence with "and") I invoked a *response* from the viewer.
It's nice to see that people are actually taking the time to rate the images posted. Look at some of my others?

I really like this shot.. great shapes/lines, texture and composition! I was immediately drawn to this image first and foremost in your folder! Nice!
