I feel that the border is a little bit too heavy on this one, and detracts from the IMHO awesome scenery

I love the interlocking curves here! The highlight on the leaves, and the slightly soft focus of the bottom leaf prevents me from giving a 7, but I really, really like the photo.

Any and all comments are most welcome. I am just starting to get to
know my camera, and the craft of photography.

Like a classic horror movie!

No, I believe the slight downward slope should stay.
Makes the image just a little bit more "dynamic".
I would like to see a bigger version, however, snice the facial features of the two persons are lost right now.

Comments, especially harsh ones, are welcomed ;-).

I have a picture which is taken more from the front, but I liked this one better for some reason. I'll try to find and upload it for comparison. Longer focal length is a bit difficult, however, as 90 mm is the longest I own :-). Thanks for the comment! It's appreciated.

Strange. The church actually looked scandinavian to me.
Wonder why?
Nice "postcard" image.

I agree with the previous comment. Foreground is to distracting. If getting closer wasn't an option, maybe using a larger aperture was?
-
Nice!
Adjust the withe balance so that the two parts fit together, and it would be even nicer.
-
Not sure why, but the picture feels unbalanced. I think the left hand is a bit too close to the camera.
-
Was the focus on the reflection or the man(?) directly ?
-
Does anyone else see the "hand" in the form of the log, protecting the entire scene?
-
Do you sell prints?
The large negative space works very well, but I wonder how a panorama crop would have worked.
-
Beautiful! love the dark tonal scale.
-
Nice one.
What's the black thing in the middle? Feels a bit distracting.

Just to explain the rating: It's a very dynamic image, with a lott of appeal. However, since it's the original artist that med the picture and you "merely" photographed it, there is very little originality in this representation of the original.

Am I the only one that is a bit disturbed by the bokeh in this image?
Looking at the top half almost makes my eyes hurt.
