I saw these and thought they looked great. I spent a few hours
wandering around Camden trying to get the courage to take pictures
without feeling too conspicuous, with the aim of recording how the
Stables market area is now, before it gets completely
ruined/redeveloped with posh bars and coffee shops everywhere.
Looking at this picture now, I think I probably should have cropped a
tiny bit more from the left edge, but I have been trying to keep
things as uncropped as possible.
As with the other Canonet image I uploaded recently - the film was
damaged when rewinding so any scratches/blotches are because of that.

This from my first test with a Canon Canonet 28 (with Ilford XP2
super). Unfortunately I did something wrong when rewinding the film
and damaged the negative (hence the scratches etc). The scan was done
on a mediocre borrowed scannner too.
I'm quite curious what people think of it. Personally I like the way
the scowling man is facing the mannequin, I also like the contrast
between his traditional type hat and the ultra-modern shop interior :)
Any comments greatly appreciated!

Mark - thanks for the comments and advice. I keep thinking it's wonky but I'm pretty sure it's that cloud along the horizon. I'll have to try the cropping you suggested.
Having looked through your scenic images, your comments mean a lot - thanks!

I like the idea and composition, but the dark areas of the lamp seem a bit bright - maybe a polariser would have calmed the reflections a little? The background looks a bit like PS clouds, maybe try with a plain black background?
Anyway, it's still better than anything I've done :)

I like this because most photos I've seen of West Bay have been taken from the beach, looking upwards so it's nice to see it from a different angle.

Very nice! I like how the largest bird isn't completely silhouetted and I think the panoramic type cropping works really well.
Being really picky - I wonder if the top edge is cropped a little too closely to the main bird?

I'm still getting to grips with the EOS 300D so any constructive
criticism would be greatly appreciated!

I took this using a little Canon Powershot A70, from the crowd (about
two rows back). I'm pretty pleased with it.
(I couldn't get her feet in the shot because of the angle I was at,
and I think the slight softness is a result of the noise filtering)
