Noise (according to a very good <A Href=http://www.photo.net/equipment/leica/digilux2/>review</A> on digilux2 posted here in PN) is only an issue on asa200 and above. I haven't even noticed on my photos. But maybe what is good for me it is not so for others so you can judge for yourself in my portfolio. (I'll mail you some raws if you want to see how things come out of the camera).</P> I shoot both in AF and manual, and a lot through the LC, it helps me compose in ways that are new referred to my analogical background (try that on a reflex).</P>Nikon D40, if you don't shoot RAW may be an option. D50 may have a bigger sensor, but full of dust :-), both D40 & D50 are much more expensive if equipped with a lens that can compare to the vario sumicron.(but where is the benefit in comparing pears and apples).

Maurik I think I understand and sympathize with your concerns.

Besides that, the rate breakdown of RR rates has been reloaded, probably due to a sensible suggestion that was made early today. It is my opinion that this does not alter the philosophy nor the rules in a way that turns everything up side down.<P>
