the only thing harder is getting good backgrounds with a studio setup. I am in the same boat. The lighting on her face is good, maybe just a bit much, but good. A bit more of the tree in the background would help. All and all a good try.

I like the composition and the tones. Seems a little to soft on top of the flowers but just a bit.

I love this dog. I grew up with these dogs and they are the best. That being said I think the expression and stance of the dog make up for any flaws in composition. The point of the photo is that you are about to get eaten and you better run. That comes across well.
