Stupid question time..

I've just upgraded from a P645 to a P645N. The P645 allows aperture control via

the body when the lens is set to A. After playing with the new 645N for the

last hour as well browsing the manual I'm yet to find the equivalent option on

the P645N. I don't mind setting aperture via the lens but stopping down

obviously affects viewfinder brightness.

Am I really going stupid or did Pentax drop aperture control via the body on the

645N ?

I have both of these and agree that they're very good lenses.

However the macro lens is optimised for close up work and as good as good as it is, it doesn't compare to the 77 le as a mid tele.

The 77 le also has the advantage of smaller size so for travel I would take the 77.

It would be a different story if the major application was close ups and macros where the 100mm is a real gem.
