Yes, it took some effort to control the folds in the stole so that face is more clearly visible. Used subtractive lighting (reflecting off white background) to try to make the face more visible.

Thank you Pierre and Mark for the comments.
About technical info - I am usually too lazy to fill in that info. Mike, why do you need to know that info to rate the image?

At a wildlife safari. Since I'm not really a wildlife kind of guy, I had more
fun clicking other wildlife photographers, who were trying to click some

Colour version of the Traditional in White #2. I think colour adds to the
image. What do you think?

Very nice scene! Though the slightly barren hills in the background are distracting the beautifully green ones in the foreground.
About low ratings - this happens to me as well. Though, I think if the picture is really good (say, 5.5+ material), enough sincere people rate it that its overall ratings remain high.

Hey Jerry,
Yes, I see that the photo is a bit dark too. I guess this is because I didnt have a calibrated monitor at the time of this photo. Your edit does look better!
Thanks for the comment!

Nice composition and colours!

Great sky, and birds add a lot of life to the shot. Though, it is slightly soft for a D300 shot (seen large). 6/6
