I use a SB600 with my d70, and love it. Its fairly powerful, and versital. While I have never used an 800 I have heard that using a combination of 800/600 speedlights produces nice results.

There are several software applications that deal in creating dvd photoshows, and vcd photoshows, they are relatively cheap as far as imaging software goes. I have used Nero v. 6 with good results.

 

However, it should be stated that there are those with the equipment and software to decode dvd media, and there is still the possibility that someone may circumvent your copyright. But this is the case regardless.

 

If you provide someone with photo proofs in an album, they can scan the shot and reproduce their own, if you provide digital images they can more easily violate the copyright.

 

But those who are determined to violate your copyright will do so, despite your best efforts. Those who are honest and law abiding citizens, probably wouldn't think much of violating copyrights, intentionally, at least.
