Love the toning here.

The lines of her body are exquisite and the photographer has posed her in just the right manner to portray them.

Not a fan of the background, but frankly I'm not sure how it would look better.

I would tend to agree about the fingertips, but the focus control and lighting that gives the texture and feel is extraordinary...

Once again, I am amazed at, whether skin is shown in your photographs or not - what you are able to get your models to reveal in them.

It is their soul. That beauty inside them that's revealed in the eyes, or in the smile, or with the body language that's so elusive, and what drives many of us to continue to find women to photograph.

That part of them that perhaps they do not know exists.

Many photographers dabble in, and become experts in the technology of the f/stop, of the lighting and the shutter speed.

John Peri is, in my opinion; a master in the psychology of the relationship that makes the photograph.

Love the wide angle distortion! Certainly fits with the subject...

Excellent work with the telephoto, throwing the background out of focus.

And I have to say this model's smile just explodes off her face. It's truly glorious, in all the photos you have made of her.

I met Brittany in the grocery aisle and asked if she'd let me photograph

her lovely artwork.

Commens appreciated. Spring's husband is currently in Afghanistan,

but she anticipates him being home for the delivery.

The light here is so gently and carresses her in such a soft manner. I probably prefer this one over the others becase of the way her face is lit.

She does look so relaxed and at ease in all of the shots.

Indeed there's one in this folder as you suggested, and she got several more for her own use, including her favorite - which she asked me not to post to the public.

Spring is due in 11 weeks. Her husband is currently serving in

Afghanistan, but is expecting to be home in time....

This entire series is awesome. In this one in particular the light just seems to caress her. It sets such a mood.

Have the "Ratings Police" invaded this site as well?

I've already stopped visiting one other web site for just the same reason. So many people spent so much time discussing the number of critiques and ratings that had been made there was an increasingly less amount of discussion done on the quality of the photography that was present there.

I have so much more to learn than I have to teach, so why should I be judged on the number of times I click something.

I will comment on this particular photograph, however. I REALLY like the feeling that I get from it. It's almost like I have stepped outside into extremely bright sunshine, and I am squinting at the beautiful, little girl.

I agree completely about the background now that I'm looking at it. Kraig your effect is probably too much for my taste - but that's just a taste thing.

I'll probably go back and create a layer of the background and then add some "dust and scratches" filter on it.
