  1. Peter, thanks for the reply.

I'm aware of the LL website and have attempted to contact Mr Reichmann without success, but I wouldn't have thought that LL would want to buy back their own products.

I was hoping that since these are limited edition books, there might be some interested collectors somewhere?

The three boxed and bound books of photographs are:

    > "A Monograph" 26 Photographs: 1996-2001; 1 of 100 copies by Michael H Reichmann > "First Impressions" 20 Photographs; 1 of 25 copies by Michael H Reichmann > "Illuminations" 20 Photographs: 2002-2004; 1 of 50 copies by Michael H Reichmann.

As these Limited Editions and shown as 'Sold Out' on the Luminous Landscapes" website, I would hope that they would attract a premium.

Any advice on how to track down potential collectors would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Marlin

  2. Hi anyone. I'm a UK-based member of the photo.net community.

My neighbour, a keen photographer, died recently and his widow has asked me to

help sort out his photo stuff.

The kit is no problem, but I came across three boxed sets of limited edition

prints called "Luminous Landscapes" by Michael H Reichmann. These are

stunningly beautiful originals printed on heavy matte paper and bound into

11.5" x 17.5" books. Each book is signed by the photographer

Does anyone have any idea how I could get these valued and sold? Are there

specialist websites for this sort of thing?

Please note that I'm not trying to sell these via photo.net - I'm just hoping

to get pointed in the right direction.

    Thanks,

    Marlin

  3. Thanks for all the helpful suggestions. The question is not one of Perspective - I can and do use the Transform-Skew tool in Photoshop to adjust for parallax. But neither Transform nor Crop adjusts for the curvature caused by barrel distortion. I will try emailing the PTLens people, but I'm surprised that there isn't a readilly available filter/tool for this adjustment that doesn't rely on a lens specification.
  4. I use a Nikon Coolpix 3500 for my digital work. It's a great little

camera, but on its shortest focal length produces wide angle

distortion. OK when wanted, but you can't tell on the LCD display

that it's going to happen. With archiecture shots I need to find a

    way of removing this distortion.

Photoshop has Sherize Distortion filter which can be set negative,

but it only works at the centre of the picture.

Does anyone know of any other filters or techniques to straighten

    things out?
