Photo of Chicago's Changing Faces Fountain. I was attracted by the
reflections which reminded me of an impressionist painting. I would
appreciate you views/comments on its photographic quality and
interest.

My theme while recently visiting Chicago was reflections, This scene
of my reflection among the many layers of reflections caught my eye.
Here there is so much detail about what is outside to be seen. I left
one person outside the reflected scene as an anchor, to make the
eye want to see more. I want to know how effective the entire
process is. Is it interesting and artistic? What needs to be enhanced
or changed. I have more people outside the crop. Should I add them
back in? Did I miss the boat entirely? Please give me your brutal and
honest opinions on this photograph. Thank you in advance.

The careful crop ensures repeating patterns outside and within the
mirror. I would like your views specifically on the artistic quality, the
composition, how they can be improved. Then if there are other
issues to be addressed, I would appreciate those as well. If you think
I missed my goal completely, let me know that as well. Thanks for
your honest and brutal feedback.

I am perplexed because I do not understand why this photo is
receiving such a low rating. As of today, it is rated 4. While I
understand it may be busy based on today's theory of staying very
specific on topic, I believe it has interesting compositional elements,
great depth, and an interesting story. Help me understand why you
would rate it low, and what you would do to improve the rating.
Thanks for your honest feedback. Ray

Interested in the BW conversion quality and impact. This old
abandoned lighthouse in Port Townsend/Port Wilson, Washington.
Looking for mood, artistic quality, zone/tonal range perspective. Any
suggestions are appreciated for improving this photograph. Thanks
for your input.

This was a photo art self-assignment. Please let me know what you
think of the concept based on the title, and the execution. Thanks for
your input.

I love the layout, but want to concentrate on the Gulls. I have tried to
create depth and used a vignette to focus attention. Please provide
your insights on how to make this a more dramatic photograph.
Thank you. Ray

This foggy lagoon was captured while hunting for the Umpqua River
Lighthouse. The lighthouse was just up the hill from the lagoon and
was totally shrouded with fog. The light was so beautiful and warm
against the backdrop of the illuminated fog, that the view was
undiscribable. Hopefully, this image gives a reasonable view of this
exquisite experience. Your perspectives are appreciated.

I would recommend dropping the contrast just a bit. It is a beautiful photo and I agree with the previous poster that the wall or tree from the left side of the photograph should be cropped.

This photo was taken along the road leading to the Olympic Rain
Forest in Washington State. It was slightly overcast, but sunbreaks
were begining to appear. Your suggestions and opinions are greatly
appreciated.

I have never had anyone question a title of my photograph before. However, I thought I would explain it. The definition of EXISTENTIAL is "pertaining to existence". I believe that the beauty of this lily both proves the existence of beauty in nature and the existence of a guiding hand in its creation. I believe all natural things have unique beauty that can be seen if we just open our eyes and look at how it has adapted to its environment. I hope this explains my choice of title.
