First thing, stop at the visitor's center and take a look at a book called "The Smoky
Mountains Photographer's Guide" by Bill Campbell. Check out the road to Tremont. At the
end of the road, park the car and take the "Middle Prong Trail". Lots of small scenic waterfalls
and no crowds. Also check out Roaring Fork Motor Trail. But get their early.

When I use merge layers, all of the my visible layers merge but they all collapse and disappear from the
layers palette as if your using flatten. In viewing videos from Lydia .com and Radiant Vista, when they
merge layers, a new layer appears at the top of the layers palette that says "Merged" with the older layers
still visible and you are still able to work on them. What am I doing wrong? I'm using CS3, Mac g5, 16 bit
Thanks

Instead of a hotel room, look into some of the bed and breakfast inns in your area. You might
be able to rent for a few hours and might also have access to other parts of the inn with
permission.

Looking for suggestions on how to mount a d200 to a motorcycle for a "over the shoulder" view of a biker
on his motorcycle and a view low and in front of the rider looking toward him.
Thanks

Road to Tremont. Park at the end of the road and take the trail along the river. you can spend
a whole day taking pics. Also check out the Roaring Fork motor trail if it's open. Try to get
this book from the vistor's center. Excellent guide to the various areas of the park.

Not as good as a live person, but almost as good is the Radiant Vista website. Lots of good
video tutorials and a workbench area that show how to improve digital images with PS. Need
to download this soon as they will soon be charging for use of their archives.

Instead of a leveling base, take a look at the nodal ninja. I got one for my D200 a few
weeks ago and it's easy to work with, just mount it to your tripod. I just put together a
photo of my living room using 30 photo's (3 high by 10 wide) using a 28mm lens. Check
out the photo at
