  1. This image is from the same series as the previous Boy Blue image.

I'd love to get some feedback, especially from those who critiqued the

    first submission. Thanks in Advance

This is a great shot, is that wine being poured in to the Cognac glass? I think the shot with Cognac would've made me feel better, to me seeing red wine? in this glass looks odd to me somehow. But in all respects a fine shot.
  2. Another nice shot! If I'd been taking it, I probably would have tried to get a little more detail out of the Sax, since it's half the focus of the image and some of the detail is lost in the shadow. But the B&W gives it a nice feel.

    Well done!

I don't think it's distracting, it's just out of focus enough, leads the eye towards the driver.

What equipment did you use? I'm always fascinated, because the equipment spec (lens lengths, etc) gives me a good idea of what was required to acheive the shot, pit lane/VIP access required or right place / right time?

    Nice shot!

  3. That's the thing with concert photography, once you miss the shot, it's hard to recover, especially on a short set of music. With landscape photography you have the ability to plan, with concert photography you have to make the best you can of it, because anything can happen!

    Well done!

  4. The shot itself is quite nice for me, but I'd have used an extra fill flash (if the circumstances allowed). From the harsh shadow cast by the flash I'm guessing that you used the on Camera flash, no equipment details so I'm just guessing. Personally I also might have waited a little longer for the player to reach a part of the music where his face shows more expression than he has in this shot.

Nice shot overall, shadows cast by flash a little to harsh. Of course, if the shadows were cast by stage lighting and you had no control over it then you made the best of the situation.

    Well done!
