    I like your tone that you used and the vignette. the wrinkles in the background and the angle add to the texture of the whiskers. Also the high light coming down on him lighting the top front of his face and washing down on the sweater give a nice separation to the background by making his shoulders a little darker. Good lighting. The shadow on the dark side are just right.

    I like your soft broad light on her face, I only see one catch light in her eyes, did you only use one large softbox? Her skin has a nice tone to it, but her dark blouse hides so much of it and makes it bottom heavy for me. I think I would like to see her at a less sharp angle to the camera and show more of her upper chest to balance her fact out. Her pose is less than dramatic which for me keeps me on her face which is probably what you wanted.
