If you meter snow, a white shirt, or white dress, open up 2 to 3 stops above what your meter says and you should get white instead of gray

Thanks to you all who have responded. I plan to use my Fuji S2 pro - can anyone tell me if is Pictbridge enabled? If so, I may look at some low cost dye sub printers to enable me to shoot and print.

I have volunteered to shoot pictures (digital capture) of kids with
Santa at our local community "Visit with Santa" event next weekend,
extending over several days. We're expecting about 1000 kids over the
several days, depending on the weather, and would like some advice on
the best method to print the pictures. I have an Epson 2200 and a
Epson stylus 785 EPX that can be used. I'm hoping I can make do with
what I have, as I want to donate my time and supplies and not have to
charge for the service. (Polaroids were used in prior years, with a
nominal $2.00 charge to cover costs). My plan so far is to take enough
pictures to fill the print que, changing out the memeory cards as
needed to keep shooting and give them to my wife who will operate the
printer. I know it will take some time to print the several dozen or
hundred a night, but I dont have to give them the pictures
immediately; they will come back after shopping to pick them up,
estimate 30 - 45 minutes.
Any advantage in shooting tethered to a laptop? I have never used that
method, but might try if I can both shoot and print from the computer.
Any advice as to workflow, printers, etc will be appreciated.
I need a lens board for CGraphic in Michigan for a shoot...
