Any comments? Shot Digital B/W. Color toned in Photoshop. ///

Any comments... this was shot on a Toshiba 2MP Digital camera in B/W
mode. I really liked the old abandoned gas station... has to shoot my
old car there. ///

marlin... kind of a candid shot of my black & white Manx. As for the out of focus aspect... this was the first shot I took with my new Coolpix 4300. I'm trying to get used to the Nikon autofocusing (in lower light situations). -Plus my cat quickly jumped off my banister, not a very photogenic animal, shutter was too slow. Thanks for the comment... matt ///

I too, really loved the background... I thought the vines were very interesting, and somewhat complex. The background in black and white was almost to busy.. I used the gradient coffee tones (NIK color effects pro) to mellow out the blackground a bit. I originally toned the entire photo... but later toned various sections at a few angles/strengths to achieve the look of this photo. I liked the contrast between the model and
the background in this result.
Thank you very much for the input... I'm pretty new at this, and this photo was taken quite some time ago, but due to my recent purchase of a film scanner... I kinda wanted to "renew" it.
Thanks again... matt ///

Attempt at adding gradient coffee tones to a scanned B/W negative.
Any comments? Does it add or distract from this portrait?

gorgeous photo. I like the two moods displayed, with the vibrant green grass, and the foggy background.
