<p>I used 40D formerly and recently I bought 7D,but to my disappoint,the focusing-signal in viewfind turned out to be LCD's instead of LED.this made me uncertain if the focusing-point is in object in my snap shot.Then why this change?the LCD's more durable than LED?</p>

Canon has large number of lenses for me to choose.

I DIY a lens hood which is a little longer than original one(I use 40D) and found it helps to reduse flare.<div></div>

Now after showing sharpness,I'll show bokeh of 28 lens.<div></div>

Yakim,don't put hopes on "may be".If you take landscape's,the corner will be important and the lens is not fit,but I only take street's and regard aperture as importance.

Besides sharpness,primes usually have advantage of weightness and bokeh ability.

I feel at F5.6 it becomes acceptable,though still cannot match the L glass.<div></div>

I tried and do find some CA wide open but there is none when stopped down;-)

I compared it with EF28-70/2.8L at 28 side and there seems to be no difference,and with more than one step faster and

lighter and above all much cheeper.It's the first choice of normal lens on aps DSLRs.Any comments?<div></div>

Some of the inner glass of my frequently used lenses as 35L,70-200/2.8Lis seems to have oil fogs,hence the

question.Will high tempriture aggravate?Thanks for your advice.
