Hi, I just had ordered a hoya r72 lens, went outside, with my 300D, set it to a long exposure and this came out. The red sky must just be the shade of filter. I have only taken like 5 shots IR in my life. If I remeber correctly I did do auto level in PS to make it a little more visible. Thanks for the advise, I need to get back to workin on IR.

I think I used like f4 or f5.... maybe should have used an 8 or so??? and took the picture slightly from a lower standpoint to reduce the shadows? I agree with you %100. Sometimes I dont notice things like that until pointed out. Thanx.

Its dark??? do you mean the background or the foreground?? On my monitor, it looks well exposed...hmmmm. Thanx for the heads up, i'll check it out on some other monitors.
