I don't think your picture is boring at all.

The think I would have personally done is to take out the house on top which I found a little disturbing, by shifting down a bit.

What I mostly Liked about this composition was the reflection of thetower to the left which seemed to merge into the image of the oldobjects exposed.

I think the lines made by the shelf and theoutline of the reflected buildings, both converging toward thereflected tower, helps in giving this idea of mergingimages.

ti ringrazio intanto per il commento e il tuo apprezzamento.

Effettivamente quella sera il cielo era davvero molto terso e anch'io sono rimasto stupito di quante stelle fossero visibili nella immagine.

In realta' ho aumentato, ma leggermente, la nitidezza della foto con l'Unsharp Mask, facendo venire a "nuova luce" alcune stelle di minor (o forse sarebbe piu' corretto dire maggiore) magnitudo, che gia' erano presenti, ma appena percepibili.

Posso garantirti pero' che le stelle erano gia' tutte li' anche molto visibili, nulla e' stato inserito artificialmente.

Per quanto riguarda la mancanza di dettaglio sul terreno, la cosa e' voluta, intanto per aumentare il contrasto della foto, ma anche per far risaltare le luci.

Il dettaglio del terreno in questa immagine non mi interessava, poiche' importante per me erano le luci dei paesi sottostanti, la luce indiretta del sole e quella delle stelle.
