I used the 18-200 VR for the majority of our trip through Czech and Austria. Pics are <a

Admittedly the stained glass windows provided OK light, but they were mostly shot from the opposite side of the
cathedral to minimize perspective distortion and the VR made a big difference at 150-200mm.

I carried a D80 with the 18-200 attached in a Kata T-212 bag and took pictures with one hand while bicycling.
That was fun! Got a few good pics, and no crashes.

The scale can also be used to convert between feet and meters, in case you forget your pocket calculator. This is especially helpful for international travel.

Only peripherally relevant, but sharing anyway... Here's an FE2 shutter dial on my road bike:
Not 100% color accurate, but close enough for cycling. And one big bolt in the middle is much easier than three small screws around the periphery :-)
