  1. Hi everyone. I only read the original post. I studied alot philosophy, so I hope that the question I propose here has not be discused yet. First, I dont remember the painter name, but it must had been an impressive painter in the 20th century. But he had the revolutionnary idea (if we can say that) to paint a street corner (whit a restaurant on it if my memory is good) at different time of day. The result is that the same painting in many exemplarys have a wide range of colours of course. Some are realy far from each others in terms of palette colours. The painter was taking back here an Heroclitean tought (2400 years old). To come back with the thread here, I think that, this serie of painting, has change the way of thinking of some modern photographs. It have give the idea that colors (taking at the moment of the picture "reality colors") can be work (even to obtain an other "reality color" possibile). Also gave, more simply, a relativity to the work of image. It also have it's impact of B and W photography (think of the gray scale vs light). But all in all, with Heraclite in our mind, colors are a material to work on so it give a certain "fun" to play with the colors. For my self (beeing more a "nature" (natural) photographer) I tend to work the colors to obtain wath i think "the reality colors" were at the moment where the photo was taken. The colors that my own personal distinc perception was capting at the moment.
