The only thing missing is Gandalf, walking down the trail. Very nice capture.

If this picture has taught me anything, it is that I need to refine my photoshop (GIMP) skills to a much higher level. What looks like a throw-away shot was turned into a rather nice image.
As far as originality is concerned, what hasn't been done before? If 2 songs use the same chord progression, does that preclude them from being great music?

Nice photo, good composition. I wonder - what created the vignetting? I'd guess it was introduced in post processing to fill the 'void' in the top corners of the photo filled by the bodies of the cranes in the bottom corners.
Is it just me, or is there a preference lately for symmetrical and somewhat abstract images for POW? Just curious....

This is looking straight up, so it is a bit deceiving to the eye.
Tiffen red #25. f8, 1/60, T-Max 100. Comments always welcome.

Wow. How often do you see that? Nice capture! Too bad you couldn't get in tighter on their faces looking back at you, but nice never the less. Congrats.

I thought about bringing up the foreground lighting, but decided to
leave the photo unmanipulated. I'm sure a higher end scanner would
bring out more detail. Comments/suggestions appreciated.

I think it looks more like a still frame from an computer animated movie than a photograph. The girl looks very much like a marionette, especially the hands/fingers. (is this what the artist was after?)
On the other hand, it conveys a dreamy, carefree feeling, and as a work of art is very well done indeed. As a work of art, it is beautiful. As a photoshop work of art, it is pretty good also. As a photograph - well, I wouldn't judge this as a photograph. Where I think thais image excels is in the execution.

So I'm just starting a stock photo portfolio, and this is one of my
first efforts. Opinions welcome!
