I went out to a local state forest and try my hands at shooting fall

colors...all Critiques are welcome

I heard alot about this place so I decided to give it a go, which is

close to my home. Much details are lost converting from Raw to

Jpeg. I need to find a better conversion technique to keep the image

as close to the original as possible.

This is an abandoned power plant close to where I live. Converted

to B&W using lightroom

This image was taken early morning a few weeks ago along a river close to my

home. It had rain the night before. I went out hoping to get some shot of the raging

river. Unfortunately, I didn't get anything i like. I decided to go a little closer for an

intimate perspective of the many leaves around the area. Please let me know what

This image was taken on a cruise ship as we were leaving the Bahamas. It was a

beautiful sunset. Notice Atlantis is in the background. That place is beautiful. I wish

I used the GND feature in lightroom to darken the sky a bit to add a little drama (about 2 stops). Maybe I over did it.

This image was taken one morning when I wake up early. It had rain

during the night. Armed with my 5DII+100L macro lens. I was walked

around my front and backyard to look for something interesting to

shoot. I spotted this spider web covered rain drops. I took over 30

shots and this is the best I can come up with. C/C welcome

I actually love the little movement of the boat.  It creates a surrealy look to the image.  Nicely done

I took this photo while on vacation with my family in the Bahamas. I

noticed the muted sky contrast really nicely with the lone boat in the

middle of the ocean. C/C Welcome

After a long abscene from my favorite hobby, it feels so good picking up

the camera again. I took my Canon 7D + 100L macro to a local park

and was lucky with this photo. It was really windy that day and I didn't

have a tripod with me. This is one of a few usable images I got out of

hundreds. C/C welcome

Amazing capture

I wanted a different view for this raging stream. I notice a branch

near by so I decided to use that as the forground looking through the

stream.
