Baie goed gedaan. :-)

We have this saying: "spreken is zilver, zwijgen is goud" ("to speak is silver, to be silent is golden"). Maybe there is another idea for colouring of the lips... Very expressive picture indeed!

Nice image. Good use of fill flash. (what about guy in background - would you consider cloning him out?) Best wishes for 2005.

Is using a layer mask to selectively brighten or darken parts (deleting the curves effect on an already white wall for example) considered a manipulation too?
I suppose that if you use this technique to expand dynamic range, it can be compared to dodging and burning in the traditional darkroom. Consider it normal photographic practice rather that "manipulation".

you don't really want me to swim, do you?

Good exposure. This night scene would look better with straight verticals - you can do this with free transform tool in ps.

wonderful expression! I would trust the world in the hands of this woman.

The background bars are just perfect! Is she inside or outside the cage? The answer is in her eyes... 7/7 for me

I was very puzzled with this image before I read it was a ps edit. I thought the bird was about to chase the fox away in order to get it's part of, what I suppose, is pray in the background... But with the presence of the bird explained, I am still wondering: what is this object in the background? Seems that it was obviously something to the foxe's taste...

Another great picture Anna! Great warm colour from the firelight and a very faint blueish "moon"-light bringing out the contours of her shoulder and arm. 6/6

Very good framing. Is the person to the left the referee?

refreshing!

perfect hands! perfect white detail!

Per, what camera profile and what destination profile are you using with your H10? I have this same problem as you seem to have with colour response in flesh tones (specially on hands - magenta cast!). With your canon dslr camera you don't have this problem... I have often thought of having a special camera profile made for flesh tones...
With the above image you may try to correct with selective colors filter - in red channel: cyan minus 70% and yellow plus 100%. Mask off the dress as it will be affected by the correction as well. Of course, I agree that this ps correction is exaggerated - it however shows how far off the camera profile is for rendering nice and warm flesh tones.

I think this picture, nor it's title, need the (added?) star in upper left corner. 6/6
