    I'd like to see the same shot with some strong lighting to bring some contrast into the birch itself and not just with the surroundings. Its a nice shot though!

    this would have been much nicer (imho) if you had framed it with the bird more to the left to put it off center and bring in perhaps another wave crest

    I'm not sure who is intended to be the focus of the shot? The man on the left draws my attention because of the lighting but I'm not sure he was meant to be the main attaction?

    think you need to be a touch sharper and either a little more contrast or slightly deeper saturation of colors. The grain bothers me a little bit, but I don't know what equipment was used to say if it could be better controlled.
